After weeks of cold weather, a beautiful Saturday finally arrived. My fiancé and I decided to take our dog, Pinky, for a long-awaited trip to Governor's Island. 

It was Pinky's first ferry ride, and she was brimming with excitement. 

The island felt almost deserted, allowing Pinky to run free and enjoy the fresh grass after being cooped up indoors. 

We captured some incredible moments of her joy and freedom.
